Discover Meursault, Beaune and the Côte d'Or
"Qui boit du Meursault ne vit ni ne meurt sot"
Old adage of the Murisaltiens, to be applied with moderation of course!
Meursault is certainly in the heart of Burgundy and offers Chardonnay lovers the promise of many pleasures, but not only ...
The Côte de Beaune vineyards extend from Ladoix-Serrigny to Cheilly-les -Marranges, passing through Pommard, Volnay, Puligny-Monrtachet, among others ... The list is not so long of these beautiful appellations that always make lovers of good wine dream ...
Here, it is essentially white, from the Chardonnay grape variety, but you don't have to be a fine oenologist to appreciate the area ...
Do not be shy, there are many Burgundians who are not experienced in blind tasting! Notes, dresses, aromas, grape varieties, Climats: if all these terms are still too vague for you, it is certain that you will find the right place in or around Meursault to discover the basics of oenology (and wow the gallery during your next dinners !!)

Château de Meursault
From Vercingetorix to Philippe Le Bon
Around Meursault shine places full of history , anecdotes and curiosities: Beaune obviously and its famous Hospices (our Guigone and Nicolas apartments bear these names in homage to their founders, Guigone de Salins and Nicolas Rolin).
But you can also visit Autun, a large Gallo-Roman site , Dijon of course, capital of the Dukes of Burgundy and its palace, the Abbeys of Cluny and Cîteaux , or the Alésia museum ...
Sumptuous places, whose stories are often linked and which place Burgundy in a register other than purely wine.
The Hospices de Beaune
In a context of poverty and famine, Nicolas Rolin - chancellor of the Duke of Burgundy - and his wife Guigone de Salins, founded the Hôtel-Dieu de Beaune in 1443 to come to the aid of the "poor sick".
It is a true masterpiece of architecture known worldwide and famous for the brilliance of its main courtyard, the splendor of its roofs with multi-colored and glazed tiles, and all its treasures.
The Abbey of Cîteaux
You have to take the "path of silence" to reach the reception and begin the guided tour of the monastery, during which you will discover the life of the monks punctuated by work, asceticism and silence.

The MuséoParc offers a formidable reconstruction of history, and plunges you into the middle of this famous battle
Dijon Museum
The Palace of the Dukes and that of the States of Burgundy are included in an architectural project. Take the time to stroll through this square before entering the Cour d'Honneur, then the Cour de Bar, opening onto the Museum of Fine Arts, and the Cour de Flore. In the center, the Philippe le Bon tower, built in 1458, invites you to discover Dijon from above, and admire its multicolored and glazed roofs.
The Clos Vougeot
Majestic in the middle of the vines, you cannot miss its majestic silhouette when you travel the Côte de Nuits. Today it is the property of the Confrérie des Chevaliers du Tastevin and hosts their "Chapters", celebrations whose objective is to always make Burgundy and Burgundy better known!
